I needed a chair for my bedroom and picked this one up at a flea market for $5. Great shape just ugly upholstery. I sanded and cleaned the wood and reupholstered it.
It looks pretty good and really ties in to the Moroccan theme of my room
This is my journey to an "Embellished Life". One that is creative and beautiful and blesses those around me.
I have been embellishing my home for many years with flea market and garage sale treasures. I love the thrill of the treasure hunt, the triumph of a good find and the satisfaction of creating something useful or beautiful from a cast-off object.
I call myself GypsyRose because I never seem to get settled in one place (see my other blog the gypsy hearth)

I am an avid DIYer. I'm into Genealogy,Culinary mysteries,all-things Jane Austen and Cupcakes. My current obsession is crochet-I am a beginner; I also scrapbook on my blog- Clearly Scrappin', and like trash-to-treasure projects and secondhand shopping
